Our new Year 7 students have just returned from a brilliant residential to the Peak District. This annual trip is a great way for students to get to know their tutor group and make new friends. Students took part in an 8 mile hike in the beautiful National Park landscape, as well as enjoying a day out at a theme park. 17th century Hartington Hall Youth Hostel always gets a big ‘thumbs up’ for its food and facilities – the perfect venue for evening bingo, board games and disco. Some students chose to extend the adventure opting to stay in the youth hostel’s new bell tents.
